Line endings are normalized to one format. Trim line edges, remove blank lines, or merge repeated spaces and tabs only when you choose those options. Whitespace cleanup can shift indentation, so check formatted code with care.

Check and keep a copy

Clean the text, compare the character counts, and review the output before copying or downloading. Editing the input clears the old result, and leaving the page ends the session.
